The Malone family had our bi-annual reunion June 13th-17th. It was in San Antonio Texas so Brandon and I planned a longer trip to make the flight expensive worth more for the money. We left the 9th and came home the 21st. It was a good trip and it was wonderful to see my family. We were sick from day one with some sort of short term flu and then we got bronchitis that lasted forever. Besides all the sicknesses we visited the Zoo, Sea World, a Wild Animal Safari Ranch, and a beautiful Lake for a week with my family. We also spent time at my niece Jessica's house and my brother John's house. We got to get away from the kids for an anniversary dinner and stroll at the River Walk with Jessica and Jessie and we got a tour with Wendy of San Antonio by only the best, Jessie. Good times and I'm sorry I've been such a slacker to not share it until now.

Spring Baby

We spent the day today at "This is the Place" park trying to get into the spirit of spring. All the baby animals were out for the kids to hold and pet. Chloie had an absolutely wonderful day. I had a great day too. The kids were little angels like %99 of the time. I am in heaven. I hope this is what I can look forward to during Chloie's wonderful 3's(cross your fingers). This little pony is just the right size and Chloie loves her. I was so proud that Chloie figured out how to hold the little baby bunny without smothering or squeezing it. She loved it so much. Their were tons of baby chicks and a few baby ducks that were totally adorable too. Chloie is obsessed with ducks so she really wanted to hold one but they were really hard to handle and shivering not to mention on high demand throughout the barn so we only got a few minutes with one. I was trying to juggle holding Dillon and a wiggly duck while trying to help Chloie who really wanted to hold it. This is the huge sucker that I got Chloie for being such a little angel the whole day. It was truly a blissful day. I love the view from the top of the park and the pond. I don't think my photography abilities does it justice. She went panning for gold and, with help, found a bunch of pyrite that she traded in for candy. She even got to keep one. I was surprised how many activities "This is the Place" park has for kids to do. We will have to go back with daddy in the Summer. If you are wondering were Dillon was the whole day, he was a perfect little angel who was happy being in the stroller all day.

Spring is in the Air

Dillon went to the park for the first time and he loves the swings. He also loves the dirt. Dillon learned to climb the stairs. He loves for me to chase after him up the stairs. Hopefully the last snow fall of the year. Chloie loves to wake up and go straight out the door to play in the snow. She loves to eat the snow and throw it at mommy. Dillon loves to play with his cousin Emmett. Umas Emmett. Fun time at the park with cousins. Chloie loves to play with Emmett and Dillon at the park. She loves to dig in the dirt. Chloie's new hair cut after a nap. heehee Show me the back of your hair. Nice! Mommy's new hair cut. Dillon is finally eating food. He still loves his bottle though.

I've had a request for more updated pictures of Dillon. My kids are doing great. Chloie is learning and changing day by day. At times (like everyday) I get impatient for her to learn it all now but that wouldn't teach me anything. She is such a cutie petunia. I find I need to improve in many aspects to help my daughter improve. I'm so grateful that we have an unchanging perfect God that we can follow with stability. It is so amazing to see so many different people and personalities that exist in this world, when we all have the same Father in Heaven. Just a little random thinking. So Chloie knows colors; how to count to 10; animals and their sounds; body parts; family members; mommy, brother, and daddy's names(Sarah Rock, baby brother Dillon,and Brandon); some nursery songs; how to pray; her age; some of the alphabet; and many other little things. I am trying to make a better schedule for activity and learning but right now it's wake, eat, watch show, bath, play, outing, nap, eat, play, watch show, daddy comes home, eat, play and sleep. Dillon is 7 1/2 months and he is scooting along on the ground and in the walker. He eats a lot. He has technically outgrown his infant car seat but I'm not ready to put in a rear facing toddler car seat. They are just so awkward that direction. Other than just being huge and super cute, he loves to laugh and he is very ticklish. he started making more pronounced sounds like DaDaDaDa. It's really cute to hear him. He sounds totally different than Chloie did. It's like he's a boy or something. We are all really excited for the holidays and fall and winter. We get to visit Arizona at Grandma and Grandpa's for Thanksgiving. We have never been to their house so this will be a great holiday week. We will see Wendy and maybe Peter and Ashlee too. On the way down we will visit Lindsey and Jeremy and their new baby. Oh and when we get back we get to see Aaron and Bethany from Florida! This is such an awesome holiday. I am so thankful for my blessing as a mom and wife. I'm so thankful I have 2 beautiful kids that challenge me and give me such joy. I am so happy and grateful for Brandon who works tremendously hard and extremely long hours to give our family such bounteous blessing, and still makes time to give the kids his full play time attention, and give me adult conversation and relief from the kids when I need it. Life is grand and I'm so happy for the season of the harvest to remind me how blessed and loved I am. The feeling of living out here in farm land is so wonderful. I am so thankful for the town I grew up in and the people that have always loved me from Yucaipa. I am so grateful for my sisters and brothers and all that they have taught me and all the love that they have always shown me. I love my nieces and nephews and the opportunity I had to see them grow up and learn how it is done right. I love Brandon's whole family. They bless me on a daily basis by conversations, outings and service they do for my family. My aunts and cousins show me such a beautiful example of love in their own families and I am so grateful when I get to see them. I am humbled by the great example my Mother is to all her children and those around her. I am emotional thinking about the great memories I have of my Father and the self sustaining principles he taught, both earthly and spiritually. I am thankful for Ken and his humor, knowledge and spirit. I am thankful for his children and the part they have in my life here in Utah. I am so blessed and loved and I hope I can show more love and service to those who have been such a great part of my life. Dillon slept for 6 hours straight!

We have been trying to get Dillon to fall asleep without mommy and without a binki. It was amazing because Wednesday night Brandon helped him cry himself to sleep and learn how to comfort himself when he falls asleep and then I let him cry himself to sleep when he woke up throughout the night. Thursday night I rocked him to sleep at 9:15 and he didn't wake up until 3:45! I got almost 5 hours of straight sleep. That is the most I have had (besides my anniversary) for 6 months. I feel so awake and alive today. I think I can survive off of 5 hours of sleep all the time. Also, we went to the doctor this morning and Dillon weighs 19 lbs 4oz. He is such a big and happy boy(most of the time). Chloie is doing well with her brother and with other kids. She has made some nice friends in the neighborhood and at church. She likes to repeat what people say so we have made her say some pretty funny things. Her dad tells her to say "I'm weird" and "I want attention". She thinks it's funny when she or other people toot and she says so.

Summer

Ok peps. I will finally make another post. Wow! Astounding I know. So Chloie has been learning by leaps and bounds. The best thing is that she is much nicer to her little brother. She doesn't like time outs and that keeps her obedient most of the time. She is learning her ABC's and 123's and lots of songs. She really likes Disney movies, which I'm not sure is good for her. She repeats actions or words that I really wouldn't care for her to be learning. She does come up with the funniest way of doing or saying things though. I am having a lot of fun being her mom. I've been trying to teach her how to swim and the local aquatic center. We go swimming Mon, Wed, and Fri and then after Chloie and I have swam to her content she goes to their daycare and I fit in some lap swimming. She has met some really fun kids there and I like to think it helps her grow to be a better friend. She has started a play group with 2 other 2 year olds. I hope she can learn to make friends easier. She seems to want things her own way and everyone else is just in her way. She is a cutie and I love doing fun things with her. Dillon has been chunking out quite nicely. He is 5 months old and in the 97% for his height(27in) and 88% in weight(18lbs). He has lots of fat rolls. He is a very happy and very demanding baby. I love his laugh and it's not very hard to get him to do so when he wakes up. He is a morning child. Because of his sleeping patterns I have to bring him with me to my sister in-law's house at 5:30am to do my workouts. It's nice to get out early and start my day. He has learned to roll over and he loves playing with toys and his feet. He is learning to use his voice and he makes the funniest vocal intonations. He also makes the loudest screaming happy noises I have ever heard come from a baby. He is my little angle whom I sometimes wish would be more of a night time sleeping angle. Brandon is doing great. He reached his 5 year mark at work and is doing really well there. He got a calling at church in the Teacher's quorum(teaching the 15-16 year old boys) and as a Varsity scout leader. It will be a challenge but I think he will love it. I am still teaching the 9-10 year olds by myself now. I will miss working with him in class. Brandon is a great dad. The kids love hearing his voice and being near him. He helps out so much at home even though he works all day and works at night on his second job. We have had a great summer and we have been trying to extend it a little longer since the weather didn't cooperate in May and June. My brother Peter got marries June 5th and I got to see the happiest couple be joined for time and all eternity. I also got to see my whole family. I miss them so much and can't wait for next summer when we are all going to Texas for a family reunion. My Mom and Ken stayed in Utah for most of the summer and it was great to have them around. I wish I would have visited them more often. We've been to the zoo, to parks, and to the Tracy Aviary. We celebrated the 4th of July with my sister Wendy, my parents, and Brandon's family at the stadium of fire. It was a great show with Carey Underwood. We went camping to Bear Lake with Brandon's family and to Arches National Park with just the four of us. Chloie had fun eating dirt and not sleeping at night. We had a good time despite the lack of sleep. We swam and played at bear lake and rode the little train and sang songs and sat around the fire and hiked to delicate arch and ate fire cooked foods. We hope it will get better as the kids grow older.

I had a very happy mother's day this year. It makes a huge difference having one more kid. It's like I have a big family now. We had to teach Chloie what time out is and give her a little more rules. She really loves her brother but she hits and pulls him sometimes and is just not as gentle as she needs to be. Chloie is learning really fast and is growing up to be a beautiful girl. She likes to rough house a lot so when Dillon is a little older we are going to have some good brawls. We are very excited to visit California in June for my brother's wedding. My family will get to meet Dillon and we can spend a little while with loved ones that I haven't seen for six months to a year. Well right now Brandon is working hard to finish some projects at work before we go to California and I am just trying to fit time in to do laundry, dishes, cleaning and exercise. I don't know how to do it yet. I'm not completely helpless though I've done all of those at least once since the baby was born. hee hee

Born April 5th 2010. He weighed 8lbs 14oz and was 21ins long. Mommy and baby are doing good. Chloie is getting used to him fast and Grandma and Grandpa are helping out a lot with Chloie. Daddy loves his new baby boy and we are all blessed with this new life among us.

We had an ultrasound this morning and the baby is so cute!! He is a chub. The ultrasound showed that he weights 5lbs 8 oz already and he is only 32 weeks. The Estimated Due Date changed a couple times from April 12th to March 20th and then to April 1st and averaged at about March 29th. I will find out on Monday from my OB if the due date has officially changed. We are very excited. I've been having pretty strong braxton hicks contractions and I'm hoping this boy will come just the right amount of early. We don't have a name yet but we will by the time he is born.

We have been pretty laid back this last month. I'm so happy that it's February. I'm really excited to see this new baby boy. So I just got Chloie a cup of apple juice, "appo jews" as Chloie would call it, and a little water dripped on the floor from the newly washed cup. Chloie immediately yells out "Uht Oh" and points to the water on the floor. I said something about mommy spilling something and I brushed it off to finish typing this blog. I hear Chloie talking to herself as she heads down stairs and then back up with a very upset tone. She hands me a rag and goes over to the water on the floor and points saying "uht oh". I don't know where she gets these things but I love this little girl. This is just a picture of the accessories she put on today. She came down from her room saying "HAT!" and then she wanted her boots on. Her hat is actually a pair of tights. She is a very helpful and stubborn little girl. She wants to help and she will not take no for an answer. It's a very overwhelming responsibility to teach her the right things. I'm grateful for these changes in my life and for the bigger changes in the future. Two kids!! What am I going to do?

We had a great Thanksgiving and all I could think about all weekend was this visit to the ultrasound! The baby is doing great. Due to be born April 12th. Brandon will be working out a name for a while but we will let everyone know the name when we know. We are so excited and happy for this little boy. Chloie gets to see her little cousin Emitt sometimes and she never wants to let him go. I'm hoping her feelings will carry on through to her new baby brother. I can't believe it's a BOY!!! Yeah! The ultrasound tech just got a tiny glance at the golden shot because he was crossing his ankles but she was defiantly sure. I have a lot of changes to make around here now that we know what to expect.

Pregnancy is not fun

I don't understand why this pregnancy is so different from Chloie's. I have been so out of it and sick. I have not enjoyed one moment of this pregnancy at all. Chloie is becoming much more independent which is really nice so I can rest while she plays. I do hope I can feel normal again soon. So anyway, enough of my complaining. I took Chloie to get her first ice cream cone a little while ago. I have a favorite picture of me when I was 2 years old eating an ice cream cone and I wanted to capture Chloie in that same moment.

So this last month has been kind of crazy and not very fun at the Rock home. Brandon had a problem that could have been very serious in his colon. He came home from work one day and was about to pass out. He was in a lot of pain and luckily his parents had stopped by our house to look at some stuff in the basement because they insisted that he go to instacare and get some help. He had a fever of 104 and the doctor there sent him to the ER. Brandon's parents took Chloie back to our house to sleep and they stayed with her while Brandon and I stayed at the hospital until 2am. They ran a CT and decided that he would be ok going home with some drugs and setting an appointment with a Gastrointerologist. We were very relieved and he was very happy to finally get a referral for a good doctor. Things have gone very smoothly since that visit. He feels great and knows what is wrong and how to fix it. He might need a small surgery but there are no worries now. I signed up for a 5k a few months ago and then found out I am pregnant!! Yeah! Well, I still ran the 5k and it was a good experience. I have been so stinken sick though. This pregnancy is so much worse and different than with Chloie. My wonderful neighbor told me about a drug that is supposed the help with nausea and right before my trip to St George she graciously gave me her last 2 pills. I used them and they worked like a charm. I got a prescription filled while I was in St George and I love them. Except today I am so out of it I don't know which way it up. I don't know if I should be taking them everyday. I think I will limit it to days I know I have to be somewhere or do a lot of things. So we did go to St George this weekend with Brandon's parents and spent a wonderful time at Brandon's Aunt and Uncle Rasmussen's house. We went to Annie at the Tuacahn outdoor theater and Lindsey and Jeremy Wilson watched Chloie for us. I was not sick and we had a great time. We also went for a little hike that was really hot because we left at 1pm and we went swimming as much as we could. I was looking through my pictures and I have realized that I have missed writing about so many cool trips and events. August 1st we went to a Nascar race with Peter and to the demolition derby. On Aug 8th we went to The Red Lobster with Levi and Lithie Rock. It was fabulous! From Aug 19th to the 21th we ate dinner with my mom and dad and then went to some night classes at education week while my mom watched Chloie. Those were some very nice nights. We have had some great times this summer and I hope to finish getting the family reunion pictures on the Malone family blog soon.

So I'm really bad at writing in my blog. We are all doing great. Summer is fun and hot. We have been trying to stay busy with fun activities. I have family reunion pictures that I will post on the Malone Family blog very soon. Chloie is growing so fast and it's so fun to watch her learn new things. Chloie is hydrating before we go to the park. She loves the sand. We spent 30 minutes building sand castles and Chloie destroyed them before we were finished. She also loves to play on the swings.

Chloie's favorite playground activity is the slide. When she started she would sit down and wait for me to get to the bottom. After her first day though she goes on her own before I get to the bottom.

Hello Kitty tooth brush

So Chloie loves her new tooth brush. The bristles rotate and she loves to brush her teeth for a good long time. She frequently hands it back to me and I turn it off and then she brushes her teeth some more until she wants it turned back on. It's become a routine to brush her teeth while she sits on the toilet in the morning waiting for her bath water to be ready. It's the only routine I have down pretty good with her. The rest of the day is hit and miss. Chloie is walking on her own and making plenty of messes. She drives me nuts a lot of the time but as I pause to reflect I am the only one to blame for the way she acts. I do love her hair though. Who would have thought I would have a curly haired one year old for a daughter?

Okay it's not summer yet but I love the good weather and Brandon being out of school. We are planning vacations and good times. I've been getting the garden ready and planting seeds in starter pots. Chloie has been taking her first steps on her own for a few weeks. I think she will get some courage soon to start walking everywhere. She has been getting much happier now that she knows she can get what she wants. I think she is learning what communication can be in her future. She is one crazy girl though. Chloie likes to copy everything we do except talk. Last week I got her on the camera copying Brandon doing the Tarzan call. It was great. I am going to take her to a kids gym this summer to learn new things and meet other kids. I've been a couple times to check it out and she has fun.

Spring is coming

The weather is getting much better here. I try to go for walks with Chloie everyday. Sometimes it's too cold and windy but she really likes getting outside. We had a really scary thing happen on Friday night. Around 8pm I noticed that Chloie wasn't feeling good and she came up and cuddled with me. I noticed that her head was really hot so I took her up stairs and took her temp. It was 103 so I called the 24hour clinic and got an appointment. Chloie and I were waiting in the waiting area for the nurse to call us in. I had her wrapped in a blanket and sitting in her car seat. I was putting a wet cloth on her head to try and keep her cool. While we were waiting the maintenance guy came over with his vacuum and as soon as he turned it on Chloie got scared, like she always does. She looked like she was about to cry and then she started tightening up. Her fists clenched and she body stiffened and her face began to twitch. Her eyes started rolling up and her face turned yellow. Chloie had a seizure. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to Chloie and I. A nice lady from the far side of the waiting area came runny over as soon as she heard the change in my voice as I was talking to Chloie. She put her face up to Chloie's to make sure she was breathing and she reasured me it was from the fever and went and got a nurse. It seemed like all the staff came rushing around Chloie and I and we got her blanket and pj's off her. One of the Dr.s said that we needed to goto emergency. The receptionist came and got my bags and lead me over to the emergency room which, luckily, was next door so we went throught the hallways. She also called Brandon and told him what happened and asked him to come to the hospital. We got checked into a room and then Brandon came. The doctor checked Chloie out and said she had an ear infection and told us what to look out for in the next 48hours. He prescribed antibiotics for the ear infection and tylenol and motrin every 3 hours for the next 24 hours for the fever. When we got home I stayed with Chloie all night and gave her fever reducer every 3 hours. It was a long night but Chloie is doing much better. We are going to church today and hopefully this will never happen again.

Winter Blues

The Rock family is doing great. Brandon has a lot of work to do and we are grateful of that. Brandon decided to go back to school to finish his BS in computer science this year. He was accepted to the University of Utah in Salt Lake. The university is right down the street from his work which makes it easier for him to make it to class. He doesn't get home until 8pm most nights which makes it hard for me but I'm glad he is getting school done. Winter time is hard to find fun activities to keep Chloie and I busy. I find that winter brings the blues out in me. I am surrounded by other mothers who are in the same boat though so that gives me a good feeling that I am doing the right thing. I love being Chloie's mommy. I get to watch her learn, grow, and I get to teach her everything she knows. That's and pretty cool feeling. So last week I got a speeding ticket in Layton. I was coming home from Wal-mart and bam! The police officer was very sneaky and was outside his car with another officer just gunning everyone that past. It was a residential area that I got pulled over in but in my defense it's on the same road as Wal-mart. I went to the courthouse all ready to plead my case but when I got there I decided to just get it taken off my record with traffic school. The officers were just keeping it safe for the residents on that street. In Utah you pay for traffic school and another fee to keep it off your record and then you have to keep your record clean for a year in order for the ticket to stay off your record so I am driving very cautiously now. I guess, for me, the ticket has proven to be effective. I didn't know how slow you have to drive all over Layton. It's mostly 35mph everywhere. Chloie is talking a lot. I wish it was in the English language though because she mostly yells in some Chloie language that I can't understand and I can't tell what she wants. When I put snacks or food in front of her she always starts to try and pick it up by pointing at it and if it doesn't stick to her finger then she resorts to skewering it and if that doesn't work then she will grab it with her whole hand and most of the time loose it because she doesn't realize it's inside her fist. Some of the time though she will get it between her pointer finger and one of her others and then, ta-da, she puts it in her mouth. She is walking around holding everything at her level but she doesn't have any balance on her own yet. Her front bottom teeth are growing in and she likes to bite everything including me. She is calling for me now from the gated bottom of the stairs so I must go.

Hello All!

The Rocks are doing great! We are so excited to visit all the family and friends that we can during the holidays. We have plans to spend Christmas Eve with The Rock family and Christmas day at our house with just the three of us in the morning and then my mom and Ken will hopefully be able to visit later in the day. Then Brandon has to work that Friday and Monday and we are leaving on Tuesday for California where we will party on with the Malone family and any friends I can get a hold of on Friday.
Chloie started crawling in the cutest way. She would put her head down and stick her bum in the air and try to push forward. I wish I could have caught her on tape because that only lasted a week and now she is everywhere. We got her a new Binky (picture below) and she spits out any other one now. It's way funny.

5 things I'm Thankful for:

This is going to be really hard because my friend Jenn's Tag was so inspiring, I am thankful for all the same things she is, but I do have different reasons to be thankful.

My husband is number 1 on my list. Our life together is fun, interesting, progressive, easy and hard, full of love and very blessed. We have great times together. He completes me. :P
Chloie is the coolest little girl I know. She is amazing to watch as she learns to do new things and understand the world around her. Time is so short and I am thankful for this time I get to help her learn and grow.
My family has helped to build my character in such a way that I am who I am today. I am by no means perfect but I am self reliant and loving which are traits my family has taught me.
Heavenly Father has given me everything I have, feel and know and His love gives me the desire to be a better person. Having my own child helps me realize that it is not hard for God to love me. It isn't hard to love everyone if you put them in the right perspective.
My friends keep me in the world and out of my little house bubble. I would not appreciate life as much as I do without them in it.

I have much more to be thankful for and stories and sentiments that I would love to share but Chloie is on my lap and typing is a tedious thing. Thanks Christine, this was way fun. It's hard to think of so many things but it's good stuff to be thinking about.

Brandon and Sarah have been married for 2 years! Yeah for us. We spontaneously decided to go down to St. George for the weekend to celebrate and go to dinner and Les Miserables. It was a great play at the Tuacahn outdoor theater. We had a fabulous time. Lindsey and Jeremy Wilson watched Chloie for us while we were celebrating. The last two years have been full of great times and wonderful changes in our lives. We are so blessed and loved. Chloie is eating solid foods now. It is so dang cute. I have a video of it below. She is also trying to roll over and sit up. It is such a fun experience. Brandon and I are doing great. We consentrate a lot on our budget because we want to be closer to finishing our house payments before Chloie gets old. Brandon is planning on marketing his budgeting software, that we like to use, very soon. It works like the old style of envelope budgeting but, it's on the computer and it helps you get out of dept and stay out. If anyone wants to try it out for free let me know. We need people to test it for problems.

Hello My Friends and Family, I would like to share our experience as a family when Chloie came into this world.

As some of you know Brandon and I decided that it would better to have Chloie induced because I was dilated to a 4 and I still had a week to go and I wanted her out. My OB scheduled me for Thursday April 3, 2008. We arrived at the hospital at 6:30 am on April 3rd and completed the paper work to have a baby. About 10 minutes later the nurse brought us to the room where I would deliver the baby. It was a very nice and large room. There was a very homey feel to it with the nice furniture, couch, TV, rocking chairs and a comfy bed for delivery. The clock in the room was wrong and it stayed 6:40 am throughout labor. So it really was a quick birth

I changed into my hospital gown and got into bed. I felt quite comfortable in that nice room with just Brandon and I. The labor and delivery nurse, Jacquie, came in and started explaining what would happen. She wrapped a baby monitor and a contraction monitor around my waist. She needed to get some readings for about 30 minutes before she could start my IV. We could hear Chloie's heart beat the whole time I was in labor. Everything was going great and then the nurse had to put in my IV. Wow, those things are mean. It was this big huge needle that, after being shoved under my skin, just sat there through the whole delivery taped to my arm. Before I could start being induced I needed to be pumped full of fluids and I had to get some antibiotics that stung my arm as it passed through my IV. That experience was not very pleasant. The fluids made all my limbs swell up even more than they already were. The nurse then started the inducing drugs and I began having stronger contractions and Brandon and I watched the show House while we waited. I had a few really strong contractions and decided it was time to get the epidural. Brandon supported me while I sat on the edge of the bed and the anesthesiologist made me feel good. Epidurals are great. It made me feel all warm and comfortable. The cool thing was I could still feel and move my legs but I couldn't feel any pain. Soon after that my OB came in and broke my water and Brandon turned House on again. The nurse came and checked on me a couple of times. She described what I should be feeling when it was time for me to start pushing. Around 1:30 or 1:45 I felt like I was ready to push. My OB came back in and I push through 4 contractions. Brandon told me to look because she was coming out. In my mind I was thinking her head must be out and I wouldn't be able to see anything but when I looked down I saw a beautiful purple flailing girl. All the emotions just came rushing in and I started crying and the OB put a towel on my tummy and laid her on me. The OB gave Brandon the scissors and he cut the umbilical cord. That moment when I looked down was the most amazing feeling that I have ever experienced. I felt such an immense emotion of responsibility. I felt the love and confidence that God has in Brandon and I to raise one of his perfect creations.

Chloie is learning to talk!!

Chloie is so cute. She has been learning to use her voice and it's so funny to watch her little lips move. She started using her voice about 2-3 weeks ago and now her cute coos and "I love yous" has progressed to a cackle type talk. It's really funny. Watch the next video to hear that new talking.

CHLOIE RIVER ROCK Blessed May 25th 2008

This is Chloie's blessing dress but this picture was taken about a month after the blessing. That day was just so crazy I never got a picture before I took her out of the dress. Imagine her a lot smaller and the dress covering her legs. She has grown a ton since her two month mark. She is now three months old and becoming easier to take care of in some ways but harder in others. We love being Chloie's parents. Brandon's birthday was last week and Lindsey Wilson came up from Hurricane and we went to 7 peaks ( a water park). There is a picture of Chloie in her swim suit in the above slide show.

Chloie River Rock April 3, 2008

Wow! I haven't written in here for a really long time. Well Chloie River Rock has arrived. She was born April 3, 2008 and she is beautiful. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21 in long. At her two week apt she grew to 8 lbs 11 oz. She is very healthy and doing great. Mommy is doing better. I will post my experience of child birth in a few days. I really feel the recovery was much worse than the actual delivery. I love Chloie so much. She is the cutest little girl in the whole wide world. Thank you to everyone for being so great and supportive. Brandon and I can't stop saying how blessed we are.

Today is the day

Brandon is on his way to work and I am talking to him on the phone while we listen to the scriptures from his iPod together. We do this quite frequently. I really enjoy sharing that time with him while he is on his way to work. Brandon and I got Guitar Hero III for Christmas and we play it a lot!
